In 2022, I graduated from the Auburn University family nurse practitioner program. I am an AANP board-certified family nurse practitioner and am excited to collaborate with Dr. Kristopher Lay and Dr. Michael Sillers. Providing compassionate and effective care for patients at Alabama Nasal and Sinus Center is my honor and commitment.

I am a native of Huntsville, AL. After marrying in 2007, my family relocated to Montevallo, AL where we lived for 11 years until building a home in Alabaster in 2018. I am a proud mother of two sons, ages 20 and 14.

I began my medical career as a patient care technician in the Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital in 1997. I eventually went on to become an RN in 2005 and over 9 years at Huntsville Hospital, I gained experience as a trauma and vascular surgical scrub technologist, surgical circulating nurse, and a cardiovascular intensive care nurse. I married my husband in 2007 and moved to the Birmingham area where I worked as a surgical nurse circulator and scrub nurse at Children’s of Alabama. I was promoted to Charge Nurse after one year at Children’s where I ran the O.R. board and supervised nurses and surgical technologists. After working for Children’s for 6 years in different positions, I accepted a job closer to home in Alabaster at Shelby Baptist Medical Center as a Surgical Services Charge Nurse. While working at Shelby for over 7 years, I realized how much I missed the direct patient care that I had experienced earlier in my career and decided to further my career as a family nurse practitioner.
